We will make a call by 12, that should give you enough time but it is looking very doubtful.

Thanks Shane, but don't make the decision early just for me, if there is a chance it could still be on then make the decision later, I dont mind missing the first round if need be!

Ha! forever the optimist Jason.

I don't think any amount of voodooing will get the track dry enough for racing....
The rain stops for a bit, then starts drizzling again. Having said that, I'm in Baulkham Hills, 10mins down the M2, but from experience, if it's wet here... it much wetter at Ryde.

I had a look at the track, its not to bad....puddles evrywhere, mud evrywhere else.......plus,its not stopped raining/drizzling for the fast 20 hrs here
We all just end up wet, muddy, cold and the track, and our cars trashed if we run today....

do what peli told me , get the mamba max pro esc and a 13.5 team epic duo2 motor from the states , then run boost and turbo, i priced it to be about $230 landed in aus, i picked up a ztw esc and a novak 13.5 ss pro motor for 110 2nd hand, i ordered a mamba max tho

I would get the 9 turn, i think the 5.5 would be too much, but what conan says below makes sense.

You can still run with the Pro2 Trucks if there is only 1 heat of SC Trucks, you just need to put your motor type in the description when entering so that everyone knows what motor you are running and obviously you can not be considered for points in the Pro2 pointscore, but you can get points in Pro4 provided there are 3 or more members running.

Good idea, the Mamba Max Pro and Epic 13.5 combo with boost and turbo would be very fast, and still legal for the Pro2 pointscore.

I would go with what the others have recommended.. get a good 13.5, tekin RS or Castle MMP and time the crapola out of it.
A well placed fan will take care of any heat issues with the motor
