Hey guys how are you, I bought an SC10 4X4 on the weekend currently putting in a new Motor, Esc and Servo but before I did race I was wondering if you could help me out on setting this thing up for racing.

I am getting Tyres.
I've heard that sway bars are pretty good, do you recommend?

Anything else?

Thanks

If you want to set up a SC10 4x4 then talk to Ray Wood at Ultimate Hobbies in Parramatta.
He has run his SC10 4x4 at Ryde many times before and is quite fast.

Hi All,

Just to let everyone know that the tap had been left on again.

I was at the track for some practice in the morning (around 10.30am) and I noticed the tap was running (only a small trickle, but water steadily coming out) it just needed to be turned a little tighter to be off properly.

It wasn't a lot of water, but running long enough so that part of the straight was wet, and the area at the bottom of the stairs was muddy. I imagine that if it had been left like that, the track would have been flooded again!

Why not just get a tamper proof tap and swap it over, that way we don't have another key to deal with and we can just keep the handle in the storeroom?

Anyone know what condition the front straight is in ?
Does it need to be repaired in order to run a race meeting on Saturday ?

Yep, that's what I was thinking of, I have an adapter for those somewhere, but still be good to keep the handle in the storeroom. It's a shame that after having had that tap there for over ten years without any problems it has come to this.
