Myself and Christian will be heading to the track after lunch to do some much needed maintenance so that we can have an adequate track to race on tomorrow.
Any help would be appreciated and much needed.
We'll be there from around 1pm to whenever it gets dark probably.

Also, as Nick has asked previously, help with the bbq/canteen area will be required on Sunday.

I will be training Christian at race control on Sunday which will add to the number of people who can run the Alycat computer, Reedy did a very good job of this last meeting.

People to step up and take on the various roles of the Ryde committee will also be needed.
Out of the 7 people on the committee last year only 2 are continuing in 2013.

Modified buggy classes are not restricted, you can run a 3.5 turn if you want.
Stadium truck and 2wd SCT can run no faster than a 10.5 turn.
4wd SCT can run unlimited motors and even 550 size as opposed to 540.
Having said that, we are allowing stadium truck to run unrestricted at Ryde on regular club days.

Good day at the track today. Christian and roman did a awesome job of fixing up the jumps. You can easily triple in 4wd mod now and in 2wd stock, easily double. One question though me and roman are both having a few problems with our gearing. What are you guys running on the 44.2?

Will and myself are using 8.5 motors in our B44.2's and are wondering what fdr people are using for 8.5 in a 4wd ?

Before anyone uses the track tomorrow can someone please shovel away all the piles of rubble around the track and use the wheelbarrow to dump it outside on the rock pile.

Christian , Tina , Will , and myself worked on the track today and I'm very happy with how the triple turned out.

Online entries for tomorrow are now closed, thanks to all of you who got your entries in already, should be a good meet. Anyone not entered will have to get their details to race control in the morning.

I will throw the shovel in the ute and give it a go if its not done when I get there.

As for FDR I usually start with whats given in the RC_Handbook found here.

http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/RC_HandbookV3-4.pdf

It uses a Novak chart as reference.

For an 8.5T in a 4WD buggy they suggest 9, so start there and play around till you find where you like it.

Had fun today too, even with a shopping list of parts that failed and have to be replaced, including a transmitter LiPo that simply died in the middle of a race. Weird. Best bit for me though was overtaking an RC8E on the main straight with my Mini LST after racing, I might enter it in 4wd Mod next time.

Results are up by the way.

Questions?? Setup Order - Height, Toe, Camber?

Hi All,

Just did a quick google, but couldn't find the information.

Which order is setup of the following three components generally done? Ride Height, Camber, Toe?

I remember that Camber & Toe affect one another, but generally one is done first.

Thanks!
