Hey guys i was wondering if you could put my name and also Justin Vergunst's name down to race in modified and if we can pay when we arrive as we both have some very serious family matters on at the moment. So our decision if we can come or not will be a week or less before the event.
Also are Orion SHO 4600's Legal??????

Any enquiries about entries should be directed to Bob Green either by email at [email protected] or by after hours phone on (08) 8339 5057.
If those cells are on the Approved List as of 1 July 2008, they will be allowed.

As far as the SHO 4600's go, on the AARCMCC thread Peter has put the below, so I am assuming from this that they will be on the list and therefore legal.
"4600's will be legal as from July 1st 2008, a pre-release letter is available on an earlier page that stated this information. It will include the Orion SHO and IB 4600 SHV cells."

We have been waiting on some final details of a new cell to add.

Attached is what can essentially be considered the final entry list. There are a couple of unconfirmed entries, namely Messrs Nicholson and Vergunst. These two, and anyone else that wishes to enter from this point on, is most likely to find themselves being charged a late entry fee.
The changes will be up on the web site in the next day or so.
Any problems or issues with your entry, please address it directly to Bob Green at [email protected] or by after hours phone on (08) 8339 5057.

I've just taken delivery of the tyres and the raffle prizes. We've got a few more sets than we need so I can make some extras available for $40 a set.
I would probably only be able to have them available during the practice days as the only way other to get them out would be by mail.

Final entry list is up on www.rrcsa.org.au although I noted one missing driver from 19 turn - Ian Smedman. Simon Nicholson and Justin Vergunst are non starters due to the impending addition to the Vergunst household (not sure what number it is).
I'm trying to get tyres to the track for the practise days for sale. Still at $40 a set prior to the event. I've only had one taker so far. If we can't get anyone to look after them, they won't be available till Friday. If they are required sooner, let me (or Bob) know.
With the number of entries in Modified and 12th Scale at 12 and 11 respectively, it is unlikely there will be any B finals, so it's looking like a few people will only get qualifying. Unfortunate, but I don't know if we can do anything about it.

Entries are now finalised and those that provided an email should have received confirmation this evening.
Modified now has 14 entries, so there will be A and B finals. Stock and 19 turn are at 5 and 7 respectively, so ther will only be A finals for those classes. 12th scale is still at 11 so someone is going to miss out on a final.

There will be several people there that can operate the timing system, so it should be available.
It will probably be by groups (ie. same class on the track at the same time). I guess that could be flexible depending on how many people turn up and what they want.

All the tyres will be at the track tomorrow.
I take it you want to sand your tyres or something like that?
We'd have to set up an area under the control of scrutineers if that was the case. We'll see if it can be done tomorrow (need a willing volunteer scrutineer or two).
There are probably still a few extra sets if you want more to practise on at $40 a set. Again, I'll have to see how many we can spare.
