Just a general question about the mini's what are the top speed of these things.

i have a sports tuned motor and 19 on it, with hpi wheels and rubber.

i heared that tamiya 60d give a slighlty higher top speed is this true and are we taking alot higher or just 1 or 2k's?

cheers

You will get a higher top speed as 60D's are a larger diameter. Not sure in terms of k's/hr but enough to pass on the straight.

Fit What?

The question is a little confusing... The chassis is identical on all the M series FWD cars.

Can I guess and suggest that you might want the M03M front suspension maybe? Seeing as how its the only different component?
What you need for that is the Tamiya 'F' parts kit (51238) which will also give you the centre spacer as well.

I think the question is about the actual chassis. Both front and rerar chassis parts are the same for MO3, MO3L and MO3M. Only the spacer between them differs.

Mini

My hopped up HPI Mini pro is still good also. 2 speed transmission, center and front oneway, modified adjustable upper links. May not be legal for TCS though....

Can't see too many tamiya bits on the car?? So much for a "conversion" kit!

fleagun 09-23-2006 01:21 AM

this is the "mini" you want!

if I remember we went through a 4WD mini stage a few years back with the HPI and xpress mini's and they all but killed mini racing.
