Here is a couple of pics that might help you out. Shock tower - You can use either type of ball studs shown. Shock - Use the kit shock ball cup(on shaft). If you require more droop use the kit shock shafts in place of the Tamiya ones. Corally springs fit fine. Also Tamiya, HPI, Excel and probably a range of others. Hope this helps. |

Hey guys i am looking at moveing up to the modified ranks but have heard that the corally diffs you have to rebuild then after every run is this so or not and if so is there a way to fix it or is the new diff that they are bringing out the way to fix it any help would be great?

You can do the team mod to the standard diffs, which is to remove the thrust bearing and replace it with a flanged bearing and the washer from the SP12 or a cone washer.
The thrush copes o lot of crap in it so with it removed the diff is smoother and lasts longer between rebuilds. |
New diff is excellent! Have to think that Corally nailed it...

No this is not the case and also yes the new diff is suppose to get up to 30 runs on a 8.5 motor so a mod motor should produce a fair few runs on the new style diff.
