Setup on mine now is still close to stock - 1.3mm front sway bar, moved front top arm to outer hole on the bulkhead... still using the factory springs... this setup calms the steering a little on my track but still gives plenty

the newer drive shafts are pretty good , yo can also use the xray part # 305320 for the T1 car :)

I've got a set of the new ones to put in and another set sitting at my LHS ready for when I can pick them up

They look meatier and there isn't as much material machined out of the balls around the pins

I have too many E4's , so I have 1 complete car with Kfactory rear hubs with a second car about 80% complete for spare parts along with some new parts still in their packages (arms / belts) asking $360 U.S. will ship to Aus.

Recieved my E4 today. Openned the box and have to say it looks very well built with a lot of quality. Lets hope it translates to fast lap times.

I'll be running stock mostly, so does anyone have a good set up starting point for an outdoor asphalt track. Mid size with 2 sweepers and a few sharp turns and a teardrop.

Cheers

Aaron,

I'd suggest for a starting setup to use Jake Zarb's from the Team Magic website:

I'd suggest starting with the kit setup before changing anything... Jake Zarb's setup works well as well

I've raced at Landsborough with the standard setup and the only change I will make is to use stiffer springs

try this set up worked very well with a stock 13.5 motor:)
the set up will work very well with the stock 1.4 x 7 springs (17lbs) I just used the stiffer AE springs to cut down some of the steering:) ( this car has a ton!!)

Aaahhhh, so the kits chrome springs a 1.4 - 17lbs. Thanks for that.

Thanks for the set up choices guy's

How do you adjust the lower roll centre settings? ie; kick up/anti dive - anti squat/ pro squat settings.

Also how is the rear toe angle changed?

e4rs 04-09-2008 01:23 AM

i have drive both cars that teammagic have made in the e4 and found that the e4rs is a must have the car has unreal steering good rear end grip beaten the top guys race time by 6 sec in stock.i ran it 4 the first time in 540 and took out the summer cup then put it away then took it out agin to go very well in stock.you might find it hard tho to find places on the car to get it up to wieht when running lipo and the car has so much flex so you might have to sort out tweaks in the chassie but i think its a car on the rise to the top.some might say other wise tho

Hi guys,
i have just subscribed to the site and have read all your posts, i have been recommended the E4 by Team magic, and it appears that the choice is easy after reading your posts...
Just about to obtain the first edition E4 not the RS. Was after any tips for building and maintance etc. i've been out for a while of the rc game and have to refresh and learn all about the new big world...so anything would be appreciated.
look forward to participating in your conversations/posts.
thanks
PRIME:)
