yeah, ive got the lab 7.6, and its on the pace, thats for sure, im no on road guru but i was quite happy with it, once uni is over, i'll be getting back into the on-roads, the mid motor mount has its advantages and disadvantages, i think it depends a lot on driving style, cya

Default HPI Pro 4

Any one with a computer can draw a picture of a car and thats all it is until you see it ain't real just like HPI spare parts
Anyone who like me who has owned over the last couple of years a HPI product should wonder if we will ever be able to buy though a LOCAL HOBBY SHOP the spare parts or upgrades for them.

I LIKE MY PRO 3 and am keeping for racing BUT it sucks when you have to get spares for it overseas. Hell you can not even by them from BUY HPI (their own shop)
Yes I AM P**** OFF

Buy HPI ain't the only one... at least they're USA-only.
No worries, just take your $$ elsewhere easy.

But what about...

Welcome to Team ORION's e-SHOP

We're very sorry...

But the e-SHOP is not open to customers in Australia and New Zealand.
Heck, even Estonia, Lithuania and Djibouti residents can access
the shopping site.. just not Oz and NZ!!!

Default Driving Tip # 1

If your behind somone.. and your strugleing to catch them.."calm down a bit" for each corner.."watch there line" and then improve on it by an inch or so :closer to the apex" ..after a couple of laps you will catch them.. this a driving style i use at every race..
Once you catch them its now "how you pass them"............

I'd just tail 'em until they make a mistake...

Big problem with touring cars is that there is lack of driving finesse.
Or is this because its a 'scale' race of the V8s, paint rubbing etc.

I began racing in 1/8 onroad... and racing there is sooo clean.
Good lines, clean overtaking - race strategy counts!

what is the best car for stock racing? i want something i can then use in a brushless class in eastern creek.

is it worth spending all the cash on a xray for stock, to then upgrade to brushless?
Well I am thinking about selling my TC3 off in the next couple of weeks. Very fast and sorted out car. It the pink thing running around eastern creek at a fast rate. could be a real good buy for somone like yourself.

to get rid of the memory effect you can, when i first began i made my own dischager out of brake light bulbs from k mart. plug ya batts onto this after your run, and unplug when lights go dim.

instructions on how to make one of these is at www.balakracing.com
:-)

Rob Storey

p.s. let your cells cool before recharging them
