You should certainly ask them but be nice about it. Maybe offer them each a free sausage sandwich at the Nationals if they come along to watch. You may find you encourage a few of your onroad guys to try offroad just by getting them to watch the Nationals. However that will not happen if we (as offroad racers) act like we are entitled to the date and get them annoyed.

I just realised the warm up has been moved (bugger it wasn't my idea Thats thrown my holiday plans and work schedule for the track out the window), but due to us being across the car park from the on-road track we will not be able to practice on the 16th. as it will be their race weekend (but I will find out for sure if they intend to be running that weekend as they might have the day off for the GP )

i dont see how the locals have a "insanely huge" advantage. Sure the local drivers will always have some sort of home ground advantage, but its the same for the locals every year.
At the vics, any practice anyone did before the event was useless, because the track blue grooved. Nobody had seen a Blue Groove at keilor since the 90's if ever.
I honestly feel though, if we want to see a track half as good as the vics track, we had all better pray for alot of rain at the facility.
I dont know about people practicing all the time, maybe thats a myth left over from the vics.... I honestly practiced more on the vics track, after the vics, because of the whopping blue line around the track.

I agree Matty, on the Friday of the Vics it was blue grooved in most sections of the track and come saturday it was drop down a couple of teeth and push it through the mud.
No matter how much anyone practiced it mattered for nothing once mother nature had its say. There is nothing better for bringing out scarcely seen rain like a title event

Scotty,
I have no affiliation with AARCMCC however the best information I have is that battery rules wont be modified until mid year.
We need AARCMCC to confirm this statement.
Cheers,
Brad Fisher

Dustex info
I would suggest that you apply the Dustex at approx 200g/m², then if you need to add more you can. At the start and on the corners I would think you will need to add more due to the lateral pressure of the tyres. If you have the Dustex pre-mixed you can spray the extra on quite easily. 4 X 25ltrs should be sufficient for your needs; this will leave you with some left over after initial treatment for maintenance washes when they are required.
Each 25ltr container is $68.04 plus GST ex my Adelaide store – as I don’t have any of the 25ltr in my Melbourne warehouse, someone coming over to Vic maybe able to bring them.
If you obtain a 200ltr drum and add 30ltrs of concentrate then top up with water and apply the solution in 2 doses, i.e. do 2 lots of the 200ltrs, this will allow the Dustex to penetrate the surface and bind it. Use a small 5hp fire pump to apply the solution. For the start and corner additions you could a fire fighting back pack, we have done this with National parks on some of their walkways!!!!!
If you have any questions at all please ring me on either number below.

The e mail address can be obtained from the AARCMCC web site.
