ALSO I WENT TO GREAT LENGTHS TO BY A PULL START ENGINE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULE ( NO STARTER BOX ALLOWED) AND THE REST IS HISTORY. AS FOR RULES, IN REGARDS OF THE PULL START THING, I ASKED THE QUESTION AND WAS TOLD WE ARE NOT RACING IN A TITLE MEETING SO WE CAN CHOOSE WHAT WE WANT TO DO WITH OUR RULES WE'RE ONLY HAVING FUN AND AS LONG AS THE PULL START IN OPERATIONAL THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY LIKE
Im sorry to hear about your interference problems ,but it was said controlled practice in ep and gp not frequency controlled.... it is unfortunate and hopefully the club will have larger numbers to help out ,the few members we have that are dedicated and soley responsible for the job thats done, did an incredible job better than some others from club racers that are not members. and i commend them for the event considering to be run reasonably smooth.....

Also regarding pull start , next years event will be concentrating on the pull start class in as too make it fairer and more scrutineered eg.pull starts and also engine size......All to be confirmed in the near future and will be edited on entry form to inform all racers......
cheers russell....

Different crystals shouldnt clash. Are you sure its not a case of someone grabbed the wrong peg. Frequency pegs are common use for controlled practice. To me controlled practice refers to running cars in similar classes. IE Nitros go out then electric, where electrics are usually broken down further so that 540/stocks arent speed humps for the 19t/mod guys.

I suspect what has happened is that someone has grabbed the wrong peg. When looking at frequencies the frequency listed on the transmitter crystal is different to receiver crystal. Someone could have looked at the receiver crystal and picked up the wrong peg.

If you dont run 2.4GHz its the risk you take during controlled practice or even in a race. There could be someone stuffing around in the pits who forgot to grab a peg or who is a novice and doesnt no better. Or you could have some guy nearby on the road not involved in the race meet. When i ran crystals i had 5 sets and at some big meets i would still have to wait 15 minutes just to get a free frequency peg.

Default Draft Rules

Hi everyone good reading and some good idea, is it time that our governing body puts out a set of draft rules for discussion and looks at motors to be allowed like our EP classes.

you have the details to login to the website, just upload the files - then post the link here. i even made a tc2007 folder back in january or whenever it was, so if you upload the webfiles into that folder the results should be able to be accessed at www.trccc.com.au/tc2007/ when there uploaded.
