I am happy to answer any questions on setup with the NTC3. I personally found the car to be amazingly easy to get going fast. I used the car at the Nats and managed to make the A final with it so I have some experience getting the car going.

It was the 2002 Nats held at Lilydale in Victoria.

I used the following setup from the AE website.
http://www.rc10.com/racerhub/setup/r...2_tristate.pdf

Lilydale was a big track and it had very good traction (like you would expect at a Nationals). I tried a few changes but the car worked very well like that so I left the setup.

If the car is all over the place then I would work on finding the best tyres first. Car setup is secondary. Find out what the fast guys are using on that track. If it is a large track (like most gas car tracks) then use fairly firm tyres or the car will ‘wonder’ down the straight. I used FAST 40 Fronts and Rears. If the car is loosing the rear end then try something like 37 Rears and 42 fronts, maybe also try 3.5 degrees rear toe in.

I forgot to say. I found that it made a big difference if you trued the tyres down to at least 60mm diameter.
