Are there any photos or layout diagrams of the track? There doesn't seem to be any info on the site about the track.

Track looks good. Do all classes run on the same circuit, or will it be cut short for 540 and mini?

The track never changes, only direction change can be made.

There are now barriers around the track, and corner "plow disks" to stop corner cutters.
The barriers are only down the middle of the parallel lanes, so if you hit them your a fare way off line.

The track from the nats a few years back is as the track will be if not better.

Cheers

Default 540

Gday, I have read the entry and it states that one only 540 will be made available, if that one is damaged, it does not specify how, only damaged, that is it. I am thinking about coming from Sydney but if the hand out motor goes kuput in the first race, that is it, please tell me that it is not the case as close to $1000 it would cost all up with 2 days from work, entry, motle for 3 nights, etc, just a thought before i enter

I think I can answer this one...

If your 540 dies during your first run, it will be checked for the reasons why.

IE: if the motor has been tampered with (DQF'd), if the bushings have let go, if a winding has come loose.

If it is found to be a fault with the motor, a replacement would be organised.

But the entry states other wise, I'm saying this in the place if the motor went on the "first" run not the last qualifier...

(I raced 540 from 93-98 and never had a 540 fail, so you should be right)

But if the motor let go due to over gearing, you may have to purchase another one.....but only if its in the first round.

These are the protocols that have been around for quite some time, if they have changed I'm not sure as yet.

A gearing start point for 540 at Wodonga is around 6.8:1 and go from there.

Hope this helps

Cheers

On the entry the "19 turn demo" class has the motors as a 19t and a novak 5800, shouldn't it be a 4300?

Just checking

Thanks

Are there going to be tables provided at the track for pitting or BYO tables?
