Simon,

Perhaps we should clarify.

The 'juice' aka Cottees Cola flavoured cordial, is only used at Dandenong, with the new track and smaller than usual entries it has needed a bit of a help to get grip. I uysed 40's all round on my PS last race successfully and would do the same for Pro Tourer

The VORTEC race is at Mornington who do not use anything as it is a school basketball court that is still very much in use.

SP racer should be able to fill you in on the tyres being used there.

Actually, the "VHT sarsparella " cordial has been sprayed at mornington for the last 3 clubbies and it's worked great.

The track gets sprayed before the start of the day and before the third qualifying round.

40's are the go at the moment.

Well what do you know, so the schools not paranoid about marks on the courts anymore?

Do you still have to refuel on carpet?

Looking forward to the end of the month.

Hey Kaptn,

I thought I read somewhere that is someone from PSS's times would have qualified them in the top 10 for PSP would they get promoted for the next round ?
Also if someone from PSP wouldn't of qualified in the top 10 for PSS will they have the option of dropping back to PSS next round ?

Kaptn,

Another question I have a RX8 body Shell which is 2 doors, is that Ok to use ?
I am not sure so thought I had better ask rather than get down there and not be able to run.

Gday Guys,

PSS is graded once a year at the start of the year. It is essentially a class for novices's (first year drivers) and those of us who pardon the pun don't know shit from clay when it comes to set up or drivers skill - no offence intended.

Once drivers skills enable them to be competative at PSP level, then they progress when they feel they are capable or when the VORTEC committee deems them to be too talented for PSS.

A driver once in PSP cannot then be demoted back to PSS straight away. I am sure that after a period of time and unsatifactory results in PSP that the vortec commitee would consider it. I would think that a driver wanting this would be in his best interest to apply in writing so that i can check results, performance to support this persons claim at our grading meeting.

VORTEC rules state that 4 door sedan body's or Kit body's supplied with the car are only allowed in our events.

Hope this answers all your questions.

Updated Entry List. The response has been fantastic guys. 53 entries so far. Lets get more people down to Mornington though. Still plenty of spots. Although i have not done it yet, there will be three heats of Pull start Sport due to the large numbers.

Don't foooorget Mornington has a round at their club this Sunday. If you want a heads up on the track get down there for a run.

Kaptn's Form guide 2007 is in it's final stages, will post next weekend for all to peruse, stay posted

Looking good. Would be nice to have 2 full heats in Pullstart Pro and tourer though.
