I have alloy reont knuckles and rear hubs, they have been extremely strong and I've never had a problem with them

Everything is made in china or taiwan .nothing is made in japan anymore apart from raw materials .
when they tell you its made in japan it really means its packaged in japan .
some of the best 7075 is made in hong kong believe it or not and transported to china and taiwan .
i can understand wearing of parts but dont forget parts have to wear as if they didnt there wouldnt be a r/c market .
most wearing accurs from poor cnc work not the materials used if they are hard anodise the 6061 or the 7075 then it will last longer .dont forget 7075 doesnt last long either it has to be hard anodised to last longer .
a good example is the 1/8th off road buggy chassis look how long they last for and its not becasue of the 7075 its because of the hard anodising they do to the material
i hope this helps
