Glad you asked about the brushless... at the moment there is no 'mod' class it is really just nitro, stock and novice, if you want to run the 4.5 you'll probably end up running against the nitro guys. I have just got a 13.5 which is equivalent to the stock brushed motors so there shouldnt be *too* many complaints. get the 13.5.

I race with a 4.5 but as Pete implied, there aren't always enough people for a mod class...

If you get one, maybe there will be though!!!

I think Paul Shannon is planning to run mod if and when he can make it to racing as well.

I would love to run mod but there's never enough cars. I think Adam has just bought himself an 8turn single, so He may be up for mod as well.

Paul.

I like the idea of running mod, but I cant really justify the extra expense/ wear and tear that mod would cost.

For me the 13.5 offers the best combination of speed, battery life, tyre wear, drivetrain wear, laptimes, low maintenance, crash resilience etc.

If I was going through a set of tyres every race meeting, it would soon get a bit pricey.

I wonder how the new interim rules will go with tyre wear and speed in Mod class

6 Cell cars minimum weight: 1525 grams
5 Cell cars minimum weight: 1450 grams
4 Cell cars minimum weight: 1375 grams

Hi All,

I will be there at 8am Sunday to again set up the track.

I'd like to try some minor revisions to my previous track in order to make it marginally quicker yet every bit as challenging...

See you all there

Steve

Looking forward to Sunday as well!

What time do you guys start setting up/cleaning the track?

I'll try and come up early to give you all a hand.

Default Track set up.

Jen and i will be there between 7.30am-8.00am for track set up, we are bringing another 8m of track lay out material , hoping this will help with a bit of short fall of the fire hose.
