alright well i just read the rules a little closer and realised it says that any buggies in the pull start class must have their original engines
but in my hyper7 i've got a mach21
so i guess i cant race it??

because us petrol heads prefer screaming engines going around in circles while leaving cancer causing smells... ppffft stick and ball games

seriously though, it was the best weekend for it as there was other major RC events in other states.

ok the official answer is:

yes you can race it.... in pro buggy.
no you cant race in pullstart. sorry, its not the engine that come with the vehicle.

its all about getting out there and having fun, you should nominate for pro bug anyway.. heck, ive even nominated for monster truck and my offroad driving skills suck!

at our track its more about consistency through the turns because you only get a 3 second blast at full throttle down the main straight. big engines dont get very much advantage really.

Glann can we expect to see a zero-tolerance policy regarding poor marshalling etiquette at the state titles?

Glenn,

The rules appear to be silent regarding the fuel tanks which must be used in open monster truck. Can you please advise of the largest fuel tank allowable in this class for the state titles. Or is it open as per ROAR spec?

http://www.roarracing.com/downloads/...uck%20rules%22

Cheers

AARCMCC state: fuel tank may be replaced with any tank of same capacity to the stock unit.
