From what the rules say, it is only 27 and 29mhz allowed. I'm sure if Spektrum was allowed, they would say so. But still sucks 40 isn't allowed, especially since I got a controller from an Australia store.

Just a quick question about Stock with regard to Plugs can you use an adapter between the battery (deans) and the Tamiya plug?

Thanks

Yep, I did that last year. I going all out and direct solder this year

Its good that graphite rims are also allowed, hopefully this mean if a car comes with 4 mm offset rims in the box you can now use whatever offset you want.

yes you are right spectrum is not allowed. So That will go into the admenments page.

The way I can see is that Dan can't get people disquified so hes not going to race.

This will be my 3rd year and what I have learned in the last 2 is everyone is too good so I need the advantage. I will be there what ever happens, unless I win a national of some sort

I doubt if Crazy88 motors are TCS legal. I do have a car owned by a past TCS champ

Does that mean you have to use Tamiya plugs or can you use Deans plugs all round (including motor and ESC).

For stock, all original esc & motor wiring must remain. I made an adapter to use corally connectors for the battery only.

Basicly the rules for stock are in a nut shell that the car should be built as per instructions as a basic car. Though this year with it difficult to obtain 26mm tire we have aloud the drivers of that class to be able to run the 24mm rims. There is a slight difference in Dia but 24 tires are far better than the standard 26 tires. So to answer your question you have to use the contectors as per instruction and were we have other batteries we have allowed you to put a joiner between your batteries and the tamiya speed control but still the tamiya contectors have to be used.
Thats in a nut shell

TJ

Would a JR 27mhz FM XS3 synthesised radio be permitted-I note the section that radio gear must be crystal changable-but this system has no crystals.

Also as I read the stock class if the kit has ESC in it then it is ok to use, or can I get any tt-01 kit and put the tamiya esc into it?

cheers

The JR radio is fine but please make sure you know what the channels match. We have had it before that you say channel2 is not the proper channel 2.
In regards to ESC as long as it is the standard Kit ESC that comes with the new kits its not a problem.
