Thanks guys. ..yep I was getting confused with the ACT discussion.

I get that you cannot goop (if that is the right term) them, but can you cut groves in them like a wet tire?

I ask only as I read the rules (much to learn for me) and they state that for the finals they will run in rain until standing water forms on the track surface.

But perhaps normal tires are best until standing water forms anyway. ..As the groves would only be there to disperse standing water
