2014 Qld ORRCA 1/10 EP On Road Titles 25-28 September Hosted by FCRCCC Hervey Bay

The actual ORRCA rules on motors say:
13.5 Electric – Any commercially available 13.5t motor on ROAR, BRCA approval list
It's my understanding that the D3.5 is no longer on the ROAR list, and I think was never on the BRCA list. AARCMCC have given grace period until the end of 2014, but I'm not aware of an ORRCA announcement to that effect. That would have the D3.5 not being legal unless I'm interpreting the rules incorrectly (which is quite possible).

Orrca rules states it must be on the list at the titles and the D3.5 was removed in march so that would mean it can't be run
Lee the orrca titles is open to all interstate competitors

I like this two motor limit concept.
I haven't read the rules regarding the change to understand what the exact thinking is behind it, or how practical enforcing it might prove to be, but it seems like a great idea to me.
Hopefully it doesn't, but it could possibly put some people off competing at a title event under such a rule. "I've got to get through 6 rounds of qualifiers and then hopefully 3 A finals in spring daytime temps with only 2 motors to use? That's not fair!".
Personally, I wouldn't be put off by a one motor limit. (I think there would be a widespread rejection of that from the spec racing community though!)

Do we run traction compound for the titles? If so what type do I need to stock up on?

Re 2014 On road qld Titles
I have mentioned in previous posts I would be competing at this event,
But it is with regret I will not be able to compete I know this Title event will be a great success for the club at Hervey Bay and wish you all the very best.

How strict are the rules going to be for speedies in the F1?... the current F1 rule set has 2 different options available which allows for an more strict ESC rule to be applied at events if the organisers deem it warranted.
Just want to clear it up as I am currently using an old SP ESC (no dynamic timing but also no blinky mode by current definition) and I need know if I have to spend the $$$ to buy something else.
