NSW Indoor Championships
Just wrapped up a great meeting at Castle Hill. Greg Brooks took the win after Qualifying 3rd behind David Warner and Mark Wallin. David took the first leg narrowly from Greg, and it was a great effort for him to come back from there. I had a good meeting myself and very much enjoyed the circuit with a little more grip than it has on a Friday night; as did the guys who finished ahead of me. Some video was taken, so hopefully we'll be seeing that shortly.
I've updated the Championship standings. They are here: http://www.rctech.net/forum/12904297-post3.html Greg Brooks is now in an almost unassailable position in the Eurostock championship.
A look at the table reveals that we've had 30 drivers compete in Eurostock from more than 12 different clubs, 11 of them in NSW and the ACT. That's not a misprint. You might be forgiven for not realising that there are even 11 clubs in NSW and the ACT let alone that that many have drivers who race 12th scale! Added to that we've had 14 drivers compete in Modified from 9 different clubs. It's pleasing that the Tour has brought them all together to be able to compete in this class we all love.
Newcastle RC GP 1-2 Nov
Details have now been given to me by the Newcastle club of our last round. The Newcastle RC GP will be held on the 1st & 2nd of November 2014. Practice and 1 or 2 qualifying on Saturday then the rest of qualifying and the finals on Sunday. More details will be revealed in the coming months.

With the long gap between now and the final round in Newcastle, we are looking at adding a non-championship round of the Tour at RC Arena.
Final details need to be confirmed, but at this stage we're looking at a 12th scale only event, including both Mod and Eurostock on Saturday the 20th of September. The date is fairly solid.
RC Arena have kicked off with a strong 12th scale participation, and this meeting would be our way of supporting them in what they are doing. They've been operating for only about a month, and are already managing sometimes 3 groups of 12th scale on a club night. If we add that to the turn-out we can generate with a Tour round we're looking at an awesome attendance for the meeting.
RC Arena is now NSW's only carpet track, they have a really professional set-up, we want to see them succeed, and so this is another reason to support them.

No cross entries for 12th Scale.
If we get a more than 8 entries of Novice and GT we can split them into 2 individual groups
