Round 3 - Sun Aug 4 WCRCMCC (Geelong)

Next Sunday is Round 3 hosted by West Coast RC Racing in Geelong. A great opportunity to race on this track.

Setup from 8.30am, racing starts at 10am. It's a normal club day and all VORTEC electric and nitro classes are run so bring a second car if you have one, and bring an RC friend even if they don't race F1.

Well the weather forecast was wrong - again! - and we ran a full 2 qualifiers and 3 mains today for Round 3 at Geelong. Many thanks to the team at the Geelong club who put on a great day. We were made very welcome and the day ran without a hitch. If you want to try a new track I can recommend this well run club!

I would just like to thank the F1 guy's for coming down yesterday, it was our honour to have you at our track.
Thankfully the fickle Geelong weather held out just long enough, those f1's really shine in the dry conditions.
Again thankyou for coming down and you guy's are more than welcome to come back anytime.

A reminder that Round 4 is in two weeks on Sun Sept 29 at MPRCCC (Mornington Peninsula). I've heard great reports about this track. Looking forward to the next round!

MPRCCC also have their Showdown event on 26-27 October with all VORTEC classes and F1 (using National Rules), so this is a great warm up for that event.

Well Round 5 was a really enjoyable day with fantastic weather. Thanks to everyone who made the trip. Everyone seemed to have a great time!

Here's the meeting results and photos including the overall results for the Vic F1 Cup Series 2013.

Our thanks to all of the clubs and drivers who participated in this years cup series and made it such a success.

Plans for 2014 are already under way so see you all next year for an even bigger and better Vic Cup Series!

Congrats to both David Stevens for 1st and Chris Bismire for 3rd in the overall championship. Was great fun racing against you both and looks like Wodonga was a great success. Will be back to hopefully race you both on the track in next years season(s)
