Come one come all run anything illegal at the nats as the powers that be want to stand tall but sits down to piss

God for bid if 2nd place had their engine checked, they would have been disqualified too.

The 10 sec penalty did not in any way affect your final position.

The protest re 1st place was taken to the club rep's and the final vote was two abstained, two for allowing the motor and one vote
against.

appreciated all the time and effort you all put in this this event. I've never had so much fun racing, and particularly good, fun and close racing that was had in the 21.5 class

looking forwward to the next one.

Thumbs up Thanks Logan

On behalf of all the members of the Bayside Radio Control Car Club I would like to thank the Committee and the members of Logan for hosting a great weekend of racing for the first round of the SEQ Interclub Challenge. There's a lot of work that goes on in the background and on the day to have a meet run so smoothly.

It was great to see all our friends from Logan, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast, Chargers and Brendale all doing what we love to do best...having fun with some extremely close racing.

You'll have to tell us the secret on how you get two days in a row of sunshine and fabulous Summer weather in Autumn

Bring on Round 2 at the Sunshine Coast Radio Control Car Club, Landsborough!!!

Cheers
Melissa La Spina

I assume you're referring to the same modification, and then he took part in the reps vote. I know that Peter was one of the two reps that voted to dismiss the protest (a deciding vote). Is this a kangaroo court or what?

Perhaps Brett is actually a little too modest with his whinge, and has a bigger reason to complain than what he has let out. He would have been the winner if rules had been followed!

Kindest regards,
Lars.

Lars if the club had balls they would reverse this decision and award the correct position

1st Brett
2nd Stuart
3rd Marty
4th Graham
5th Mal
6th Chance
7th Paul
8th John

and the rest disqualified for modified engines, as per the interclub rule 1.8

1.8 No internal or external modifications of any kind that deviate from factory original condition including the carburetor and cooling head. (Other than maintenance and repairs and altering of head gasket shims)

Hey John, do you think that after yesterday's disaster of decision making, do you reckon that scrutineering was actually done properly today or was the same whimsy scrutinising done letting the "world's worst pit man" rule over the "inter club committee" again.

P.S. I do agree that the club should amend the positions for the race, so the club can save face as they do have a few large events coming this year and people will be watching what they do here.
