Done, you're in.

And looks like the Maitland boys have started entering as well.

Shane you now have a decent race in Pro2 Mod! Change the trophy order Roman.

Reedy 3300kvh installed and Hobbywing ESC set to 0' timing in my SC10....Good to go now

I know the 2WD buggy is OPEN, but anyone else running 17.5 back of the field fun

Stupid question, mainly because my misses spotted this on the flyer that i have stuck to our fridge as a reminder to her not to book me in for anything.

It says $20 first car, and $10 every car after that, are the two days run as two seperate events?

IE Buggy = $20
SC = $10 on the sunday,

or does the discount not carry overnight

Just curious....

Technically, they are actually two different events, but held on the same weekend because race weekends are rather limited for large / speciality events. Whether or not fees are structured as such, I'll let el presidente or a committee member chime in on that

Syndicate, I know of a few people running a 17.5 in their 2wd's, you will not be the only one.
As for the payment structure, the class entry fee does carry over to the next day.
$20 on Saturday for one class then if the second class is on Sunday , $10 for that one.
So $20 for the first class then $10 for each class thereafter, regardless of day.

What speedy are you runing? if it's a Tekin or something with dynamic timing, why don't you run boosted. Should be pretty close to mod speed, but much more controllable bottom end.

set your FDR to about 8 and max boost ie 50* starting at about 54xx, finish about 19xxx

I was advised i could run that in Pro2 "stock" as it runs the same as the 10.5 and the 13.5 that you guys run

Or do you mean for the 17.5 turn in the buggy, its the justock spec, locked at 0

At the moment 3300kv motor isn't in the rules, but we do accept them in Pro2 because there isn't that much difference between that and a 10.5; it is something that needs to be clarified in the rules on the website http://www.sydneyrc.com/downloads.phpbut it isn't a super big issue for this event.

Sorry to contradict Nick but the 3300 is allowed if it came with the kit as an RTR, the rules have been updated for RTR's. I presume this is the case?

Exclamation Weekend Weather

As we have been enjoying this lovely Sydney weather for almost a year now there is always a chance of this weekend being effected by rain. If the Saturday or Sunday are washouts then each respective meet will get postponed to the next weekend. ie if it rains Sat but not Sun the Open will be postponed to the following weekend but the SCT Champs will still run on Sunday.

Now we have done a lot of drainage work last weekend and so far it is doing its job, as long as the water doesn't pool the track will hold up fine and not take too long to dry enough to be in a raceable state.

Clear as mud! Lets hope their wont be any
