2012 AARCMCC 1:8 GP OFR Buggy Nationals 8th - 11th March ACT
#436
It will be an awesome race with massive attendance! The trash talk regarding warm-ups etc is only to improve the sport for the future, the Canberra club have unfortunately been the middle man and provided the case for change. Their facilities and preparation will be second to none though and all will have a great time, particularly with the attendance of super star Mark Pavidis!
TQ might be more reliable to pick without the randomness which can sometimes occur in finals so I would be suggesting that there are only four guys in contention - Pavidis, Griffin, Laughton and McBride, in no particular order.

Dudes,

I've noticed that everyone's predictions are for top 15, so the vote was obviously a foregone conclusion....

I think that it will be a great meet, with only really 4 guys who will have pace to TQ, but the final will be a interesting race.
Will Griffin carry over his driving from nitro challenge and dominate?
Will we see painy reclaim his form when he was with AE with the special k car?
will Bakla and king have extra speed with there new cars?
can stringer make the JQ work well enough to drive to his pontential?
can i finally make a nats main after bombing in 3 nats semis over the last 4 years?
can currie stay off the beers?
Will laughton finally get that nationals win?
will gillot pull something out of the bag and get on the top step on the podium?
Will J.dyckhoff keep the super fast rc8.2 on track?
We will find out next week!!
heaps pumped for this meet!

After re reading my previous post, I would like it noted that my comment regarding AARCMCC not running as well as it used to is in no way a reflection of the current committee, it was a reference to further back than that. I would also like to thank the current section committee for doing a top job, much more comunication than previously and hope that the future committee can improve this communication further.
Back to predictions.
Griffen, McBride, Pavidis, Bakla, Kelly, Painy, Snape, Alexander, Lewis, King, Laughten, Gillot, Currie, Shore, Dykoff in no particular order.
