Default QLD rounds of Nitro-X Series

Well it has been confirmed and the work has already started.
GMRCCC, Gladstone, 4680 has been named as the sole host for the QLD rounds of the Nitro-X Masters series.
I hope that everyone will get behind these events here in QLD as if you wish to attend the Masters final you must accumulate points in your domicile state.

The 4 qualifiers will be held on the following dates-

Rnd 1- 16th May
Rnd 2- 18th July
Rnd 3- 15th August
Rnd 4- 19th September

With the mini final to be held on the-

Mini Final- 17th October

We are looking at opening the track up for practice on the Saturday before each event so that traveling drivers have a chance of getting a setup they're happy with together before the event. Times etc will be confirmed closer to each round.

To be eligible for points in this series you must be using Nitro-X fuel which we are working on being able to provide locally in CQ. A copy of the Nitro-X Masters Series rules has been attached and can also be viewed and downloaded from the GMRCCC website. If you have any interest in being involved these should be read.
Don't worry if you do not run Nitro-X fuel as this does not stop you from running in the event. This will only mean that you will not be eligible for points towards the Nitro-X series.

So I hope to see everyone at the first hosting of the Nitro-X series in QLD on the 16th of May.
Please spread the word about this innovative series that gives everyone a chance at racing over seas. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising.

Hi guys,

I'm keen as to get racing! Is this event open to anyone who turns up?

I've only ever raced at Barmah and Shepp a couple of times and I'm keen as to get in to some serious racing!

Any info on how this series works would be awesome!

Cheers,

Mitch.

The series is open to anyone that wants to run. The clubs holding the series rounds has the final say but the series are meant to be run as their local club race meets to promote the club and try and receivbe more drivers to their track. You do not have to use Nitro-X fuel but if you wish to have points counted towards the series you must use a blend from the Nitro-X range.

For more info check out the rules in my previous post.
Good Luck

Sounds good to me then!

What time does practice and racing kick off then? Assuming to be there around 9:00am?

Cheers.

Depends which events you are talking about. Please let us know where you want to race so the correct person can answer your question.
I can answer any question you have about the QLD rounds.

What time does racing start in Castlemaine this sunday?

I've just tried to book a room in town for saturday night. It appears there is a concert on in Bendigo which has all the places to stay booked out.

I just found this on their website.

It says track opens at 8:00am, entries at 9:00am and racing at 10:00am sharp.

Here are some of the shots I got from the weekend.

I took a LOT of pictures so needless to say, I'm not gonna put them all up.

If anybody wants to use any of these for anything, please let me know first.

Enjoy.
