Default Burncity MiniZ - Saturday Dec 5th 2009, Box Hill, Melbourne

Burncity MiniZ - Saturday Dec 5th 2009, Box Hill, Melbourne

Date: Saturday Dec 5th 2009
Time: 11:00 setup, 12:30pm-5:30pm racing, 5:30pm teardown and cleanup
Venue: Canaan International College Sports Hall, 15 Hay Street, Box Hill Vic 3128

Classes: 1:28 scale modifed and 1:28 scale stock
Entry: $20 per racer (to help us cover hall hire costs for the day)

We will be using the same rules for stock and modified classes as the HFAY (How Fast Are You) big track events.
For stock class, this generally means the stock motor that came with the car or a HFAY stock motor. See the HFAY big track event manual (hfay.tinyrc.com/portals/0/files/Manuals/2009-2nd-BTE-HFAY-Manual.pdf) for full details.

We have power on site, and we will be using the ilap timing system. There will be a limited number of spare parts onsale for iwaver's and MiniZ. A limited number of HFAY stock motors will also be available.

For those who aren't familiar with 1:28 scale tracks, this is a large track event using RCP tracks. This the same type of track as the MiniZ GrandPrix Circuit (kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/acce_result.html?sub_series_id=100071)
Check out the ausmicro.com forums for pics of our last event on Oct 17th

Post on ausmicro.com with questions or email us at [email protected]
(apologies for posting proper URLs.. i haven't clocked up enough posts for it to allow me to do that yet!)
Hope to see you all there!

The 2010 Off-Road and On-Road calendars have been posted on the Chickentrading website, based on year 2009’s dates and some information already at hand. The On – Road calendar has been posted at http://chickentrading.com/viewtopic....276&p=447#p447 and the Off – Road calendar at http://chickentrading.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=278 Both calendars will be updated as information comes to hand.

Could anyone or any club with more information please contact me or post details here, to make the calendars up-to-date, accurate and relevant for participants and clubs that are scheduling events? Your help would be most appreciated.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

The Nitro-X series coordinator Glenn Weeks has contacted me about the dates for the popular Nitro-X Series, and the dates that were based on last year's series have been removed until more information comes to hand. If anyone needs more urgent information about the Nitro-X Series dates; please contact Glenn directly. Please be patient; in my experience it often takes time to get all clubs involved to all agree on a calendar for as many as five events spread over the whole year.

Many thanks to Glenn for helping with the update; the calendars can only be kept correct and relevant with input like that.

Kindest regards,
Lars.
