Boronia Spring Time Bash is back!!!
The event where all the demo/ fun classes are run and we don't take ourselves too seriously.
Also making its debut will be the MG EVO mini which will be permitted to run at this event and go toe to toe with the Tamiya "M0" purists so we can see pound for pound how the new kid on the block goes up against an ol' skool favourite.
It will be a day/ night event...
Practice: 21st September.
Race day/night: 22nd September.

Race Format & finer details
- Race length will be 6 minutes for all classes.
All qualifying heats will be staggered starts and Grid Finals.
3 qualifying heats. All classes will receive 3 A finals with 2 to count. B and C main will get 2 finals with 2 to count.
- There will be 2 minutes between each race
- For those without a Personal Transponder, Club Transponders can be used.
- Tamiya M07 will be a legal chassis to run in Mini class for the Spring time Bash.
- Hobbywing combo EZRUN 60A Brushless ESC+3652SL G2 3300KV Brushless Motor will be legal for the Spring time Bash.
- Tires for Mini, any commercially available 55mm OD rubber mini-sized tire, in any combination and/or compound, with any insert, and standard offset mini-sized wheels. No limit on sets used.
- Tires for F1 are open, that is the use of any commercially available rubber tire is allowed. No limit on sets used.
- Tires for 1/12 scale pan car are open, that is the use of any commercially available foam tire is allowed. No limit on sets used.
- Tires for VTA is to be as per the AOC rules. (Front tires HPI 4793, Rear tires HPI 4797)
- Tires for 17.5 GT is to be as per serccc rules. Volante 36 rubber tires 24mm only.
- Tires for TC Superstock - Volante 36 rubber tires 24
- 240 Volt power available on site
- Lipo Batteries must be charged in an appropriate sack or container.
- Outdoor pitting is possible with BYO
marquee table and chairs (Marquee and tables provided for long distance
travelers). - Club Air Compressor is available for use by all entrants.
Personal air compressors may not be used to reduce noise and potential power spikes. - There is no rain day, in case of rain BRCCC will shorten the meeting accordingly.
- Trophies to be awarded for TQ in each class, 1st through 3rd places in ‘A’ finals and for Concourse for the following, Mini, 4WD mini, F1, VTA, GT, 12 scale, TC Superstock.
- BRCCC reserves the right to refuse any entry to the Boronia Spring time Bash..
