Hi Leonard,

Few more questions:

Alloy prop shaft - i've got one but it's Yeah racing branded is this a no-go?
I didnt use the Tamiya servo saver and used one from another car, is this ok?
Can i mount a fan to the car?

Thanks!
Karl.

Hi Karl,

The optional parts to be used for the event must be as per rules listed (or use kit parts). So the Yeah Racing one won't be allowed for the event. The kit servo saver needs to be used.

Fan is fine.

Sorry if it sounds harsh, but the class has a ruleset that has been established for the event. Hope this clarifies the class.

Thanks,

Leonard.

I think we'll need a scale police car to enforce truck compliance:

Default Track CLOSED as of Monday, 9th April

Hi all,

As per event rules (AARCMCC rule 6.2.5), the track is CLOSED from Monday until Friday morning (when open practice commences).

Anyone found practicing during this time will be disqualified from the event and no refunds will be given.

The track is also CLOSED to ALL CLUB members with keys (regardless if they are competing at the event).

Thanks,

Leonard.

Default Friday Practice

Please don't forget that Friday is the practice day. There will be 2 rounds of controlled practice by classes at the end of the day
  • round 1 starting around 3pm
  • round 2 starting at 6pm (under full lights - for all)

At the end of the last controlled practice round, the track will be open until 9pm.

The controlled practice rounds will be used to seed the qualifiers. The fastest 3 consecutive laps method will be used.

Just a reminder to all racers this weekend, please make sure your equipment meets the current rules. (i.e. bodies/esc/esc firmware/lipos/motors approved by ROAR/BRCA/IFMAR for your respective classes).

It is the RACER'S responsibility to ensure your equipment meets the rule set being applied (as per AARCMCC rules Jan 2018 edition).

Thanks,

Leonard.
