Because is meant to be a class for beginners to get into the hobby. We will allow Lipo as well, pretty much bring whatever batteries you have. Just like ISTC, we will be checking voltage.

Been asked by a few the past week about min for each class.
Min of 6 is required to run each class. At the moment, Pro 10, junior and 12th Stock is under those numbers.
12th Stock likely to be asked if they are interested in running 12th Mod.

Interested in some thoughts from the 1/12th guys.
We have 6 in mod and 3 in stock right now.
Not enough for either class.
We could;
- Lump together (not ideal from a speed differential)
- All drop to stock (less challenge for those that *can* handle mod
- All rise to mod (could be carnage, but then again, it’s not a small track, so a good “intro” to proper pan Car
Or
Meet in the middle. Say, all run “euro” mod (6.5 Blinky) as a gentleman’s agreement.
Shaps? Tak? Others - what is everyone’s thoughts??

Hey Clive,
I think with the size of the track and grip level, mod is the go.
I like the thought of having a feeder 12th class (13.5) but I think a championship should always be raced at the pinicle of that particular class where possible.
Cheers

Agreed mate. I’m going to run mod. It’s a big enough track and devoid of too many obstacles hopefully I won’t break too much 😂

Mod 1/12 is awesome around Brendale!
I struggle with Mod TC when I run it, but my Mod 1/12 puts a big smile on my face. If any one is looking for some basic pointers for running one at QRCCRA, check out my summary here - England Park Raceway, Brendale.
I'd love to see a few more entered for the QLDs.
