Hey Gary, last sunday i planed on racing both nitro & electric, but my receiver ( Hitec DCX ) wasn't working. I plugged my ESC into it and it was fine. Could my batt/dsc circut be fried or something? I'm taking it to work today see if we can find the problem, but i don't know what it could be.

Tsk tsk... thats's why you're supposed to put a cover over it in the nitro car... otherwise it gets stuff on it and gets fried...

We use party balloons, a.k.a. receiver condoms.

Did you check the wire coming from the Rx batt to the receiver to see if its not damaged? It doesn't sound like the Rx is fried if its still working with your esc. If the wiring is ok and the batt is charged then maybe a pin on the board has come loose. You may have to send it in to us to have it looked at. It is under 2 years old of course Check those things and let me know. TTYL.

PS you may need to put that cover on, LOL.

haha!! maybe i should... but i dont use a switch for nitro. ...man... if i send it in, i will buy a new receiver anyways to use while it goes back and forth. When i sent my 3D in, it was about 3 weeks... The RX pack works... it had power.. i checked w/ voltmeter. The pins should have made contact... even the way matt was wiggling them it should have at some point. Im just thinking its the batt circut or something...
