Default Servo noise and twitching

I just installed the 2.4 GHz module in my Eclipse transmitter. Using the Optima 7 receiver during initial setup, my servos ( both Hitec & Spektrum) make noises and twitch. The twitching may be due to the load caused by the noisy servos. The noises are without connection of the servos to the flying surfaces or connected. Have I missed something in the changeover and setup of the 2.4 GHz?

With almost all known systems, servos give a slight twitch when power is first provided on start up, this pending link to TX. This should not be continuous - you do turn the TX On First - Off Last as per TX manuals? and set fail safe?
With regard to Hitech Aurora, 2.4Ghz Spectra Pro & Optima RX FAQ, please refer to: Aurora 9 Mixes, Setups, Tips, Undocumented Features.
