Th 3Pm will work fine with the 645MG.

However, I would go with a higher end servo for 8th scale.
You need a lot of power for braking.

645 can work in 8th scale applications.
But, when it was designed, truggies had never been heard of.

It would not be my first choice for an 8th scale car.

the servos that you are using may be fine. chech your reciever pack to make sure that it is not putting out much more than 6.4-6.6 volts. if it is, then that will burn up the servo. your steering servo is high grade so that servo will take the extra .4 - 1 volt because is can be used in robot applications, even though it is not a "robot" servo. Try running a 4 cell reciever pack and see what happens, that will still put out enough torque for your servos. hope this helps.
