Hi there on the 28/01/2009 i sent an email to the service centre in U.S.A about the small gear on the motor on 2 of my servos being stripped out, ( rebuild kits dont have this one gear ) and got a reply:



Response on 28/01/2009 from billy tompkins asking me to send these two servo's back to them in america, i sent them registered post ( $26.00 ) with the service request from that i was emailed.



Response on 24/02/2009 was: Hello XXXXXXX, thia is Michael from Hitec repair dept. Got your 2 hs-5955Tg servo with stripped pinion gears. We will warranty it, but you have to pay for shipping. The shipping cost for priority mail is $26.50. Call me at (858) 748-8XXX ext.XXX. Or email me with a credit card or send us a check with your customer # 11-FXXXXX. Thank you, Michael B.



I emailed on 24/02/2009 with: Hi there Michael thank you very much for the good news as I like my hitec products a lot, Credit card details are as follows for the amount of $ 26.50 only.
Master Card
5163 XXXX XXXX XXXX
03/11 expiry date
Account name : XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX
Please advise when items are shipped and account is debited please Many Thanks XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX



I emailed on 2/3/2009 with: Hi there Micheal I sent you the credit card details I was wondering if you have sent the 2 servo’s back to me and made the direct debit to my card, please advise by email if you could so I know where we are up to this please, many thanks XXXXXX XXXXXXXX



I emailed on 11/03/2009 with: Hi there micheal I have sent you an email with master card details so as you can take the postage cost of sending my 2 warranteed servos back to me in Australia but have not had a reply from you in weeks could you please let me know if they have been sent and the card credited please, XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX



Response on 13/03/2009 was: Hello XXXXXXX, your oder is still here. I'm still waitting for a shipping payment from you ($26.50). Email me with your Credit card or send us a check pay to Hitec. Thank you, Michael B.



I emailed on 13/03/2009 with: Hi there Michael here is a copy of the credit card details I sent on the 24th of February to you for the shipping back to Australia, could please get them out in the post a.s.a.p, ( I re sent the 24/03/2009 email with credit card details )



Its now 2 months on and i still have no response to where my servos are and find myself angry as i have 15 Hitec digital servos and have only ever used hitec servos, I am a club champion at Melbourne Offroad Radio Control Club, Club Monster Truck Champion, 3rd in State Campionship but find this service very bad for a great company like hitec, Please can some one sort this mess out a.s.a.p i have added links with pics of 2008's hitec digital servo's success

I checked into this with Michael. Aparently there was some email issues and the CC info was not received until recently. The good news is, that your servo order was finished last week and so it should already be on its way back to you.
Your service center is actually Model Engines ([email protected]). Using the facility closer to you will cut down on some of the delays with shipping back and forth.

Thank you veru much for your response it helps if customers are informed as to what is going on, i sent the first email to hitec customer service asking them what to do and they advised me to send them to the U.S.A it would have been a lot cheaper for me if the people had asked me to send them to model engines as i drive past them every day in noble park, again thanks and i hope i recieve them shortly........

The person who answers the email probably didn't realize you were out of our normal service area. I'll remind him to try to double check the email addresses.
