Mike or any other Hitec guys,
I have a 2+ year old Lynx with spectra that has worked well for me until yesterday. I was having what seemed like someone else was on my frequency problems. I switched channels and the problem persisted. I switched to a different DCX receiver and the problem persisted. I tried switching out both my servo's still no success. I also recharged my receiver pack although it was nearly fully charged.
Anyway, I believe it is in the transmitter. If I turn the car on and the radio is on, the wheels and throttle twitch and jerk uncontrollably (like someone else is on the frequency) BUT, if I turn the radio off and leave the car powered on, all goes calm and it just sits there (hitec digital servos) So I believe the problem is in the transmitter or the module. What should I do? I need to send it in, but how much should I send? Just the module? the whole transmitter?
How long is turnaround time? How much can I expect to spend on the service? (best case and worst case scenario)
Thanks!
Eric Smith
