Default Hitec servo's keep breaking!

Hey Hitec.

Aughh! I'm tired of sending servos out to you for repair!

Your servos are excellent, when they work.

I had the 5645, 5625, 5945, 5925, and 5955.

I have sent in every one in except the 5955.

And none of the gears broke, its always something electrical.

The 25's were used as steering on 1/8 buggy, and the 45's were used as throttle/brake servos.

The 5955 was used on my revo and worked great

Am I doing something wrong with them that they break so much? Help!

One thing for sure in my humble opinion. 25's are not meant to be abused like steering applications. But 45's are best for that. and 25's for throttle. ..

hey guys i have alot of years of hitec servo use in 1/8th offroad , 1/10th offroad and in my experiences a 5925 does not belong in 1/8th buggies , monster trucks or larger vehicles in general . and the throttle servo which needs a minimum of 150 in. / oz of torque overheats the 5925 and will melt the fets so in closing the best thing to do is buy the right servo for your application , hitec has really stepped up their line of servoes and have designed some great servoes lately 5996 , 5997 , 5998 , 5955, 5995 are all great and will handle some abuse
later guys , Monty
and the warranty is great , one of the best on the market

hey sandrixx did the bottom of the servo get burnt and melt the plastic ?? if it didnt it is probably a problem with your electronics . check your linkage for your throttle and make sure it is not bound up and dont forget to put some kind of throttle return device
very important
