I have a 5925 that I have been running in 1/10 buggy. The last time I raced I noticed that the servo seemed to center incorrectly. I would trim it out on the radio and it would seem fine until the next heat. Then it would be off center the opposite direction. I would trim it out and be fine until the next heat. In the main I had the same problem but then it decided to recenter during the race. I compensated by holding the wheel over a tad to keep it going straight for the rest of the race.

My question is this: Is this a known problem? I don't want to send it in to be repaired and have it sent back marked no problem. I can try to keep running it but it kind of sucks to have to hold the wheel off center to go straight half way through a race.

Do you have the correct horn on the servo? It has to be a 24 tooth spline otherwise it will pop from one side to another and cause what your describing.

It is the Associated one that comes in the B3 kit for a Hitec. What is strange is that it will be fine until I turn the car off and back on again. Then it is off center.

What kind of radio are you using?

Ko Mars R. I haven't had any problems with other servos with this radio.

What is the date on the side of the servo?

I had one of the guys at the track tonight with the exact same issue..

Not saying this will cure yours, but he tried another radio and all the issues went away....

We swapped servo, Rx's, ESC...
After all that we tried another radio....

No everything works fine with all original equipment except radio..

The servo is dated March 2002. I don't think its the radio since it centers fine with an Airtronics servo.

With that date code, you shouldn't be effected by the "DATE CODE" issue..

So should I send it in or wait for it to get worse before sending it in?

hi there, i have the same problem, but my seems worse than the gentleman above. i have a 625MG installed on my buggy and it does the same thing not centering, i have the correct servo horn and gears seem fine no stripped gear are found. it just wouldn't go straight. by the way, i use a Jr R-1 radio. Do i have to send in for repair ? about how much it will cost me? i don't have the receipt can i still claim the warranty ?

Hi, i actully have 2 625 servos, one installed on my mugen mbx4 xr and another one in my v one r..both are dead now..
i am planning to send them in but i would like to know if i can still claim warranty if i lost my receipt.
