Travis is checking out the track tomorrow morning. Seems to me that the track will be pretty bad. I say pump it as soon as we can and then try to rake and sweep the wet spots all week.

Do we have pumps?

If it were only that easy. Water is probably knee deep in quite a few spots

The best way I know how, is to pump the water with sump pumps. Once it gets down to only being a couple inches deep, dig a hole at the low points, put a 5 gallon bucket with lots of holes in it into the hole and put the sump pump into the bucket to get the remaining water.

Just took a look at the tracks. 1/8 scale not to deep. Some puddles that can be swept away. Maybe 2 spots that need some pumping. The 1/10 scale is a little deeper but only 2 or 3 areas need pumped. With 2 pumps and some big push brooms this should go fast.

Same thing. I only looked at it briefly, but it doesn't need much work.

Bill,

I have a small sump pump w/ 50ft garden hose that you guys can use. If James is heading out tomorrow he can stop by my office and pick it up. This should do it.... Another option as well would be to get a 5 gallon bucket and drill some holes on the bottom portion so it can sit in the puddel drop the sump pump in the bucket so you are not sucking mud through the pump... This would work too.... Let me know.

Pics of track above as of 9:30 this morning.

When at the track met up with Bobby. They are rounding up some equipment for us for tomorrow afternoon. For sure we have a generator, electrical cords, maybe a pump. If anybody has one of those long thin shovels please bring. Also push brooms.

Rodney, yes if James could grab your pump would be much appreciated. Also if you have a 5 gallon pail we could drill holes in.

So far we only have James, Tim and myself. Sure could use more help. Even if its only for a few hours!!!!!!!!!!!!
