I gotta say, it takes a lot longer to clean an 8th scale without an air compressor. Mine is in the garbage can out by the curb.

Hey Jayson this is the same andy that you met out there on monday and as corrected I do run the Ofna x3 sabre. The car has worked well for me so far it is still very new to me so I am sure I will find more speed with it but I have had some nasty crashes leading to a less than 100% car. This past weekend I had a bad day of qualifiers placing me 5th on the start for the main but felt I could run the pace to run up front. After just 6 laps I had made the pass for 1st place wich I held untill it was time to pit. Jessie then got by just as I came out of the pit lane and I was able to again make the pass in just a few corners putting me back to 1st but I made a big mistake coming through lap traffic and went to continue and I just was not able to hold the same pace loosing the lead and struggled badly the rest of the race with multiple crashes and finally just cruised the last laps.
I had thought that maybe I had too agressive of side bite on my tires and maybe the track had just grooved in to have a ton of bite because it didnt seem like I could take a corner slow enough to not role over. This was not like me I cant remember a race that I just flat out blown the race from pressure so I was very disapointed in myself, but after looking over my buggy a couple days later I had a broken rear arm hanging by a thread and a cracked front caster block. Now I know why the car was acting so crazy but the crash I had when this all happened was nasty it was one of the kind that just sends you into a cartwheel for what seems miles and that must have done this damage I am glad it stayed together as I was able to hold onto get second place, but man it would have been fun to batle with Jessie the entire race as I feel I had something for him speed wise.

Thanks to all the guys that have helped me out and thanks for the words of encouragement I am having a blast racing Nitro!

Hey Andy I'm gonna be out there this weekend, so we can battle the whole time like normal. haha, guess I missed out last weekend, went to the dunes for New Years. Anyways glad you're still enjoying the Ofna though.

Track will definitely be closed Sat Feb 16th, and possibly Feb 9th. **So far** I think the plan is to be able to run on the 1/8 track on Feb 9th but the other two would be torn up for rebuild that weekend.
