Unfortunately, Fear Farm R/C Raceway will be stopping all operations immediately. I received word from the owners, that with the upcoming holiday season, they will not have resources to continue racing. I am hopeful that an arrangement can be worked out, so that even a partial racing schedule can continue but I can not make any guarantees.
I've been graced with many new friends from this facility and I truly hope we have not see our last days racing there. Thank you to all that have helped with the operations and a huge thank you to the racers!! In addition, thank you to Robert and Ken for all their efforts with Fear Farm R/C, so many great memories have been made thanks to you.
Again, I hope this is not goodbye Fear Farm R/C and I hope this is not goodbye to my FF Friends.

The worst part about this is the lack of notice. Maybe mentioning the possibility of closing due to lack of attendance would stir up enough interest to get people back out there. I don't know just throwing some ideas out there with hopes of saving our track. It's not like they can't afford to keep the thing open.

Seriously, my wife has a baby, I step away for a couple months and everything goes to shaite. This SUCKSSSS. My nitro buggy is barely broken in, f'n balls, never even had a chance to learn how to tune! Is there anywhere else in the PHX area running nitro or is this the end again?

One thing for sure, the list of tracks that have closed all have one thing in common, no onsite hobby shop. All of the tracks we still have that are open either have hobby shops or are in someone's backyard. So if anyone is thinking that they want to open their own nitro track, I highly suggest you find a location that you can open a hobby shop with it as well.

This is really bad timing on the owners part, with the nitro pit reopening in just a few weeks. Bob was just out at FF Saturday night, he is the guy opening the new hobby shop near near Nitro Pit and he confirmed with me the pit is reopening in a few weeks.
Personally I hd no intention to support it since I like FF but now FF leaves me and many other nitro racers with no choice. Now when and if Fear Farm does reopen how many racers will we lose to the pit?
Really disappointing, FF makes over 1/2 million $$ in one month from there Holloween haunted fear farm and they can't afford to hire someone for the race track for a couple of months?
Poor management! I'm willing to get bet they will regret this decision later.

It's hard to believe it's only been 6 years since Hobby Action closed and Kenny, Ross, Todd and Myself opened the Nitro Pit because we had nowhere to race nitro. Since then, 4 more 1/8 scale tracks opened up in Phoenix (Papago, Sun Lakes, ET, and Fear Farm) and now they've all closed as well.
All in 6 years...
