Well I have ideas but no time. Every year I rent an electric swimming pool pump to drain my pool for $35 a day, which comes with big 4" diameter hoses and it can drain a swimming pool in a matter of a few hours. you would need to keep it elevated off the bottom of the mud hole so all the mud doesn't plug it up but it would be a quick way to get some dirty water out fast, then perhaps bucket and sweep the last few inches out, then the hot az sun could finish the job.
We would at least need a small generator to plug in these small swimming pool pumps too.

Please tell me the track doesn't look like those pics posted last week?

Not sure if the power or lights are fixed yet if they are we could repair and run on the 1/8 scale tonight, we dont have a 1/10 scale turn out on thursday anyways.
We could also drain the 1/10 scale tonight if there is power WIP left his sump pump in the box last week
I will see if John can call Wes and get an update

When I drove by this morning the light pole was not fixed. I think they were shooting for Saturday to be able to run with lights on 1/8 track.

I would not want to run 1/8 on the 1/10 track this close to KBRL unless we are going to smooth it back out after.

They're working on the generator today so I'm planning on going out tonight. If we don't race, at least we can get the place in order and run a few laps..

The 1/10 Scale will need some pumping. The 1/8 scale has very little water left, and whatever is left over by tonight can simply be swept away.

I just stopped by, I seen the spots on 1/8 that need swept out one of them the mud is still super soft and may need a top coat of fresh dirt. All of the areas where all the cracking took place will need some care also.

Ken was out there when I stopped by and stated the Generator will be fixed by tonight he was expecting the guy within the hour. He is also going to have Wes move some lights on (Kenny's House) around to cover the area where the pole broke.

I am out at the track now. The light is still down on the 8th scale track. As for water, it's mostly dry. If I had a Broom I could get rid of whats left in 3 areas and it would be completely dry by this evening. The 10 scale track is going to need a pump, there are 3 spots of.standing water that are too big to simply sweep out. I might have a pump but I dont have power for it. Not sute if it will dry out fast enough if we wait till this evening to pump it out.

I am going to run home and see if I still have that sump pump. If anyone can get power going out here, have Kenny call me back.

Don't worry Joe, we'll get the 1/8 track in shape tonight and if someone has a pump we can do the 1/10 track as well. I'll be out there around 6:15 tonight.
