I dont shoot out there to often and when I do its usually for special events such as the Nitro Challenge thats coming up. I will be offering photo packages for Nitro Challenge. Of coarse I am available for hire for any other track day as well though if I am out there you will see me with a large Canon camera, typically with a big a** white lens on the end and me looking like this through it

Dont make me start to miss my nitro stuff already! I wanted to try something new so hopefully I will enjoy the 4x4 SC scene almost as much but with less work, no fuel, no constant motor tuning and less broken parts I would imagine
By the way, thanks for the help today Casey. There are some great guys on this site and out at Fear Farm who seem to always be willing to help.

Yup I will miss that sound and smell....BUT I can always come over and help pit for someone and get the same smell and sound without the need to buy fuel and constantly have a screw driver in the side of my carb.
Lighting at fear farm at night actually isnt to bad for photos if your aiming in the right direction and have your camera on the right settings. If your using a 2.8 or wider aperture lens that would be even better. Of coarse nothing beats shooting in the late afternoon though.

Awesome 2 wheel buggy is a great drivers class for sure. It's a tough one but will make you a better driver faster.
And thanks for the compliment nitro is my favorite for sure. We've have some good races lately and it's cool to see some of the electric guys join us on the nitro side to see what its all about.
Keep at it and let me know if you need any help.

Made it back to CA from a great weekend at the Fear Farm. Track and racing was awesome. Thanks for the pit help in the main from whoever it was. Nice seeing Kenny again and the smooth race program. And a good battle in the main with him. See you all next month.

So does anyone know exactly when Joey is coming to town to rebuild the tracks? I have heard that he is doing 2 trips?

And because these tracks will be built a couple weeks prior to the NC, the practice/race schedule for them has also been tweaked. Here's a quote from Kenny a couple weeks ago(This one's for you Jaz)...........
"The Nitro Challenge schedule has been tweaked a bit to make it easier for 1/10th and 1/5th scale racers, with Open practice to be run on those tracks Friday the 24th of February. Morning open practice will also be held on those tracks Saturday, with qualifying Saturday Afternoon. Mains for Electric 1/10th and 1/5th will be Sunday."

huh... seems like that takes some of the 'challenge' out of it for sc and 1/5th.... that's ok, because those 2 classes are NITRO-CHALLENGED
i'm glad the 8th is different. that's the whole idea: no practice, you get 2 7 minute practice sessions to learn the track, then qualifiers. as joey says, "it's not the nitro easy"
i'm super excited. breaking out the credit card this week...time to buy tires and spares

Joey will be coming into town on Friday and will be out at Fear Farm on Saturday. From what I was understanding he was going to start working on the tracks next week. Knowing him, he may even start pulling some pipes up on Saturday after the racing is over.
