When I first started racing at the Nitro pit the tables were full every club race. Maybe it wasn't 100 plus but it was damn close and a hell of allot more than the 20-30 they get now. The ACS was 125+ if my memory serves me but I'm sure Trevor is ready to correct me

Yea, I thought that was just me, and probably had to work that day of 150 club racers, and I missed it, now Im pissed that I missed that big race, oh well, Kilday probably would have taken me out anyway.

I kind of figured you were confusing series races and club races. Assuming you starting racing around August of 2008 when you signed up for RC Tech, you actually missed the best days of club racing. Once upon a time there was only one series race per year which made it pretty special. And the rest of the time club racing was popular because nobody got burnt out 3-4 times a year from the barrage of big events and series races we have today.

I said 100+ not 150. Are you Nick McGovern's grandpa?
Trevor it was right at the start of the 2008 ACS that I began racing and It may not have been as full as I remember but it sure was a packed house every weekend and I'm looking forward to the days when making the A main meant something and there were pit men and marshals everywhere. Now we have point series with 4 people competing for 3 trophies and all the sense of pride and accomplishment of a podiom are gone.

Are you retarded? I still pissed that I missed that race with 4 people competing for 3 trophies, and Kilday took me out.

I really hope we see the return of some missing friends also. This may be just what they needed to get their grooves back on. Way to Go Kenny and the crew at FF for giving us back what we once had.

take it easy on me, im over 50 now and my memory isnt what it used to be, but back it the day or night as it was, when at the pit they still had mt and1/10 gas truck, it seems like i remember one night when a bunch of people came down from vegas, kingman, bullhead, and lhc. it was a club night and we could not believe how many people were there, as i said my memory fading but i swear that i remember kenny saying he couldnt believe the turn out and i realy think he said it was around 100 + entries, i do remember that several times when we went to the pit that i would not get home till somewhere between 4-5 in the mourning, however it was a 3 hr dr.this is how i think i remember it, i could be wrong.

For sure on the Fersheur brothers. That's what I'm talking about old friends gone but not forgotten. Maybe even Frenchy can't resist the attraction of 100 racers at FF.
