I liked the last Cactus track as well. I would describe it as a motocross style track. Banked turns, rolling jumps... I am sure Humpty could "dig" something up when they redo the track.

Now that you mention it, that last Cactus track did last a long time. It was a little ruff at the end of it's life, but was still fun.

Whatever track they go with I think setting it up to drive in both directions would give it a longer shelf life.

Two tracks in one.

To add my two cents, the only thing I have not liked about the last few tracks are blind spots. The last Cactus track had a section after the big step up where you could not see your car for few seconds on the backside... That sorta stuff.

Maybe it was designed that way for all I know.

Designing a bi-directional track is the only way to go.

Here I run the Slash class backwards & everybody loves it. It just makes it completely different, kinda fits the truck.

What days & times are they racing @ SRS now?

Is there an Open class for the Slash?

What kinda turn-out for mod truck?

A few af us want to start coming over & running some electric with you all!

I know the largest class right now is 10.5 TrucK! Its huge, and as far as the last few weeks there has not been a "mod truck" class... Ads far as Slash I bet they will have a open class soon but for now I think they are running 13.5

Thanks for the info.

I have a CC4600 in my Slash & a CC7700 in my 1/10 truck & wanted to run them both if possible.

7pm Wed and 4pm Sat. As for truck mod, you could get a heat of them if you just asked around before sign-ups.

Me, Keoni & Dave raced. I won the Indoor Carpet 10.5 4wd World Championship.

Marcus: we have seperated them before, we just didnt change the name from 1/8 scale to 1/8 electric. Just let Dave know when you sign-up shouldnt be a problem. Just out of curiosity why do you want to seperate them?

I dont have my +4 yet or the $425 for the pipe and motor so I can only go 7min like most people, and I think wheeelie was running truggy (bigger tank). I think 2 or 3 guys can go 10 min. Electric 1/8 scale is a new class, that is why they dont race them with nitro at any other race if there is enough for them to have a class, and there is enough to have a class...
