Wheelie, what pipe did you use with the 7 port? The 053 works well with that engine.

Thank for everyone that came out on Saturday and raced! We had one of our largest crowds yet. I wanted to give a special thanks to Humpty, Jake, Tiger and Bus for coming out on Friday and pumping the water off the track If it wasn’t for you guys we could not have raced Saturday! I also wanted to thank Humpty, Lance, and Bus for sticking around after races on Sat and doing track prep. This dedication is the reason we have the track in such great shape every week!! Thanks again!

Hey Guys,

I am setting up a new B44 and need some advice on what else I will need.

I have the following:
AE B44
Novak GTB 10.5 ESC/Brushless combo
Spektrum receiver
Futaba 9050 servo

Your input is greatly appreciated on the following:
Lipo- What size brand
Tires - Front and Rear
Drive gear? - Does this come with the kit?
Anything else?

Thanks,
Tom

Tom - I hope you like wrenching.... lol

I can fill in a few of those areas...

Lipo - Reedy Saddle Pack.
I am sure Busdriver can tell you if Ballistic has one as well.

Tires - DRY WET

Rears BK BARS (RED) M3 Holeshots

Fronts Taper Pins (Silver) M3 Holeshots

Pinion - See Busdriver, Thayer, Tigawoods

Parts and more parts.... These cars dont tumble very well and the front arms dont like pipes....

I dont know what a futaba 9050 is but should work. No ballistic batteries. Track-Power, Reedy, Smc and soon Thunder-Power make lipo saddle packs. The kit comes with the tires you'll need. I would buy a 25 toooth pinion. I would wait until it breaks to but parts. They are ALOT stronger then they used to be and you dont have to work on them very much at all unless your Humpty or Thayer. I ran my car for 2 weeks without even cleaning the tires. Arron dont race, he dont know nuthin.

Bus - Nice one....When are you going to get some time to come race 1/8th scale at the Pit? You did very well last time out with your loaner... Atleast run it when the series comes to SRS. I am sure Billy has a rent a car again...

Have you seen Tom drive? Durability tester at heart...

first step of B44, building the diff.

How tight/loose is it suppose to be. There is a Star by the -1/8 mark but it seems to tight. Also, is there a difference between front and rear diff. Is it like 1/8 scale where you run thicker oil in the front (in this case tighter)?

Sorry, this all new to me. What else will I run into?

Thanks,
Tom
