Can anyone help me with my technical issues?

I am new to spektrum and binding and all of that. I bought a spektrum module for my ko propo and of corse it did not come with a manual. I looked online and it said I need to put the bind plug into the battery port and plug the battery into the throttle port.

I did that and my receiver is blinking.

Then it says you have to turn the controller on while holding the bind button on the module.

I did that and it blinks for a little bit then stays solid. But my receiver still blinks. I couldn't find anything about this on Spektrums FAQ's, technical support or online manual. I even searched the forums. Does anyone know why my controller won't bind? I have been trying to get the thing going since I woke up and I have tryd everything I can think of

have everything off. put in binding plug, if you have button on receiver, just use this instead of plug. turn on receiver. hold bind button on module and turn on controller. let off the button when it start blinking. they should be solid after binding. Turn off and remove binding plug.

Can someone confirm that the Final and next series race is not until October 3rd? That's over a month since the last race, and seems odd
