Awesome night tonight. Huge turnout and everyone had a blast. Great to have Paul Lemieux here tonight spending time helping everyone and of course laying it down.
Thanks to Eric and the gang from the Track
as well as the guys from RCP from Madison for joining us.
Andrew and Mary from Green Bay
And Mike Nelson all the way from way down in Illinois.

Here are the results from tonight.

LeMieux should be checked for steroids:

11.065 fast lap
11.098 Average for the 5 fastest
11.541 Average for the top 20 laps

Fastest lap of the race by somebody else was 11.570

Default no water

So no more water between heats?
DAMN!
I spend every race day at leisure hours trying to figure out exactly how much pin will work the best and always liked that I knew what would work at Trackside. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to do the same there too now.
I hope to come out on the 4th for some stock truck and buggy. I want to make it for some points racing this year too.
It's probably to early to tell but do you think I can plan on early december for the big race again this year?
See you all soon.

Hi Mike,

Great to hear from you. I know our change of track prep will make for a bit of getting used to, but all of us think this will be the best thing overall for Trackside.

As for the Big Show, Yes it is already set.

The big Off road race is again set for December 4,5,6 2009. I will be making the big announcement next week.

We will also have the Saturday Night Fever series again this fall and winter. Those dates will also be posted next week.

And 4WD is going to be big this year so make sure you bring your wheeler with you.

See you soon
Scotty

Sounds great, Scotty! I'll mark my calendar for December and as soon as the Sat dates are announced I'll mark those too.

At least I'm already used to picking tires. I imagine as the track changes throughout the night some of your regulars might have a little more figuring out to do than I will. We'll see. No matter what I know I'll have a great time up there.

If you mean September 4th, there is a change, the first off-road race of the season, will be September 10th now.

Scheduling conflicts led us to move the build date back one week.

Ok then I'll plan on the 11th. Part of why I put a specific date in my post was to provoke a response if the date was changed.
Thanks for the update!

Any thoughts on when the first Sat night for points will be?

Rich, I see you found it was worth the drive also. I am already telling my staff I need to leave early next Tuesday. I hope Jason and I can join you, Ceasar and John. We are bringing the mini and hoping there will be more.

Keith.

You should have been there to see Paul's second qualifier, he put down a 10.8 on his first lap!

The real challenge for him would be to make him wear
an eye patch then drive it

Eye patch - na - even monovision he'd probably be off just .1 - .2 per lap.

How about we tie him up, stand him on his head, and make him drive with his bare feet - then he might be a mere mortal and be close to the rest of us!

As reported above, he did have a 10.8 on his first lap in the second qualifier. And I'm sure it wasn't his motor - it was my back up 17.5, a well used Novak. Dang, I lost another excuse.
