Good Luck to all the Trackside boys going to CRCRCRCRCRCRCRCRCRC this week!
DON'T SUCK!
DON'T SUCK!
You won't see me at the track for a week or two. I've got a short term job with Roob (pronounced Robe) portraiture helping them move out of there studio and I need to suck all the money I can out of this for the car

hey guys,
I was thinking about getting back into off-road, and I was wondering what the buggy turnout is like on Thursdays and Fridays. Is it mostly brushless? If so, what kind of setups? Thanks for you help.

But thursday we usually do not have to many stock buggys but there is usually about 2 full heats of mod buggy
Friday would be a better day for stock buggy because that is usually the night when most of the beginners are able to come so we have at least one heat of stock buggy and if not there is usually a heat of mod buggy
And stock buggy is also brushless or brushed, you can either run a 17.5 brushless motor or you can run a 27 turn brushed motor.
Also you can run lipo in all classes.

Pilgrim,
thanks for the reply! Looks like I'll try to jump into the mod buggy class. Any idea what turn motors everyone is running? I have an 8x1 sitting on my workbench, but that might be a little overkill

Just an FYI for those that are planning on racing tomorrow Friday January 16th, you may want to make sure that you bring your full pin tires.
With the awesome global warming we have been having here in Wisconsin, our dirt track is....well.....dirt, and it is being very temperamental right now with the weather. What I am getting at here is the track is not holding any water whatsoever, so it is a dry dusty track right now.
