I know a couple guys from the Madison area are planning on heading over tomorrow for some great carpet racing. We have been talking up the excellent time Jason had last Tuesday. I hope to sneak out early again to get him there for another fun night. 17.5, VTA and Mini this time.

Will we need sun glasses when we pit at those great looking pit tables again?

Hope to be there early, Keith and Jason.

Keith,

I stopped by after work from some practice today. Found my car was a second a lap slow at least. I'll be there fairly early for some practice and testing. The back straight is a lot longer than I'm used to, but its a fun track to drive. My F1 decided to blow a motor. So sad... I'll have the Mustang there also.

hot days and open doors at the track do no good for the traction. it will be a little loose i'll guess for the beginning of tuesday.

Yep, don't worry about unusually slow seeming lap times in practice on days when racing isn't happening. I was there on Sunday trying to run the exact same thing I was turning 11.9 second laps with last Tuesday and the best I could pull was about a 12.5. It's amazing how quickly the track loses grip when there aren't a lot of people running on it. By first qualifier tomorrow night it'll be fast again!

Hi everyone,

The crew did a great job this weekend. getting Trackside ready for the start of the indoor season. We still have a bit of work yet to do, but things look great.

Sounds like we are going to have a house full tomorrow. Racing was great last week Tuesday. I can only imagine how good it will be tomorrow.

Doors open at Noon. On the tone at 7..... ish.. Remember Scotty is running the program. But I will try my best to get it rolling at 7.

Thanks to all the crew who worked on things this weekend. we all appreciate it.

See you guys tomorrow.
Scotty

What are the table dimensions.? I should pick up a towel anyway. I can hit some place between work and the track to get something. Maybe a thin doormat would work well?

Oh, it was way undergeared and I was traveling light. I didn't have my pinions with and was up in the 4.8 range for FDR. I did manage 3 practice runs and got much needed laps in anyway. The traction was really good and only a little slick. I went through the car last night and took it down to 4.4 and can hit 4.3 without swapping the spur. The two racers I met yesterday were very helpful. I'm so bad at names...sorry guys. Their TC5s were geared around 4.4 and one was running an RS/Duo combo that was running consistent low 12s and I was running low 13s. I should be in the ballpark now. I'm just out for the fun, not blood. I still consider myself a rookie in sedan.
