They had been pryed back a bit, but only a small amount (about 4-5 inches of room MAX). There are two doors on this trailer that have deadbolts that weren't touched and metal bars closed over the doors W/padlocks in tact, making it impossible for the thief to use as an exit.

HOW DID HE GET THE KITS AND GALLONS OF FUEL OUT OF THIS TRAILER?

There is quite a mystery here.

On another note...

Dirty Dez Pirate: You have mentioned that you could have access to a tractor.

If this is still a possibility, it would be a great help to Dan.

He is aiming to get the track ready for this weekend and could really use the help of this equipment on Friday. As long as it can be done hassle free, you should contact him and let him know the details. His number is 951-760-4573.
Either someone had/found a key inside the trailer and locked it back after they were done, or they took a sawzall to the floor. The broken window is a smokescreen.

I would change the locks and check the trailer throughly. They might be setting up for another hit...

Looks like the loss is minimal ,thank goodness,I had more $ stole out of my garage. Not sure what else was in the trailor but if there was more why was it left behind? Strange. The idea is that anything was stolen and the feeling that someone betrayed you is very bad. When your home or business is broke into it is a very strange feeling..... Dan will survive this loss as long as racers show up.. It will be very difficult to insure this trailor in that it is in the middle of nowhere.. I am not sure why he or anyone in this industry does it but I am glad he does.

Does anyone have any contact info (besides phone) where DirtyDezPirate can get in touch with Dan? I never realized that there is no contact info on ARC's website.
