It's nice to see you guys get all hyped up about who's gonna get second or third place again ......I almost wish I diddn't have to win "again" this sunday, so I could see you two battle it out....one of these weekends I'll sit out for you guys so a first place finish can at least be a possibility..J/K. ...see you guys sunday.......

Default pro4 question

I just finished putting my BMI chassis on my pro4 and have a question.

It seems as though the front shock tower is a lower profile than the stock tower and I cannot get my ride hight low enough. I can't even get it to touch the very top of my ride hight gauge (aprox 6mm)

Any suggestions?

By the way, I am very pleased with the way the chassis looks and the workmaship....awsome.....I also want to give props to BSYDOR for promoting this product (he's the one I bought it from)

Not sure on the pro 4 ....... are you running rubber or foam ? Its possible you got a carpet tower........Jason would be the one to best answer this one.

I am running rubber right now. But, I am sure will run foam in the future. I will also be running this chassis on carpet only.

hmm odd, are you using Pro4 springs? I can easily get the ride height down with my BMI although it is definatly lower than the standard tower.

hey guys, just wanted to let pro 4 owners know that my front shock tower is actually the rear tower mounting locations but in the shape of the front tower.i found this to be the best all around location being that it is very adjustable in the right areas and also sits lower so you can lower the front of your body.the spacing between the tower holes and the suspension arm is not changed much.my rear tower is the same as stock, therefore they should fit fine.hope this helps

I am running AE springs. Maybe I have put something back together wrong. I will look at it tonight.

OK...I just put the stock front shock tower back on. I got the ride hight to 4.5mm, but that is as low as it will go. I also compaired the AE spring with the stock HPI and the AE are aver so slightly shorter. Does any one have any ideas on what I might have done wrong?

Jason:

Hi,

if you get a chance please send me some decals, my shock towers and caster blocks back. I'm getting ready to sell one of my XRays to make room for the FK. also I'll be needing a black 350 chassis/shock towers whenever you get around to cutting them.
You guys are lucky we live up here......... Mini layed down the fastest lap of the day today 38:0437. Nobody even came close even the TAG boys were slower. all this on a cold track with YHC's. you guys need to get Karts and race.

Thanks
